Okay, I've been waiting for days for an answer from Mark on how to
update Ultimate Juice (mine doesn't unlock the features of the paid
version). Or if anyone knows, can you please help a little soul? I
really want to test out JD but UJ is hindering me.

I asked a while ago if you have uninstalled and then reinstalled both JD and UJ at the same time. I think that is what I did when I encountered this issue.

I tried that too. I tried uninstalling them both, rebooting and
installing them at the same time.

Meh! Sorry Raven (I finally answered your mail) and everybody else;
I'm in a constant state of emergency...

Just in case I encounter the same problem again. How do you fix it if JD won't recognize that you have UJ installed?

Oh, my bad. I'm sorry for bothering you too Mark. Hope everything's
fine with you now. I'm gonna test it out now.

Hi,

I just encountered the same problem following a full wipe of the phone
(in order to test a new ROM).
I'm able to reinstall JuiceDefender but not UltimateJuice because it
does not show anymore in the Market as an app that I have already paid
for, so I don't know how I could even re-install UJ????

I was wise enough to do a nandroid backup before wiping, so I could
restore the previous state of my phone (ie all apps including JD and
UJ). However, this is not really solving my problem because I can
still not test new ROMs using a full wipe....

So please Raven or Mark can you provide the solution for everyone (or
pm me the trick!)

Thanks

Surfinette

Forget about part my previous post, as I finally managed to get 1.81
running with my Froyo Rom (I had to do a full wipe).

But, I still have the problem that 2G/3G still don't work properly. I
cannot manage to have 2G only with the Froyo ROM, it is always 3G
whatever I set in JD.
With Android 2.1, I had no issue with setting 2G only.

I finally manage to restore Ultimate juice with Titanium Backup... But
is there a way to restore it without an external backup tool?

Ok, the whole UJ situation got out of hand. I just included the stuff
in the newer JD builds (starting from 1.8.1 or 1.8.2), so there
shouldn't be any more UJ-updating problems. Thanks, Google...

I just posted another fix. It only works for root users though.
