CPU increase...everything slows down

Let me know exactly the info you need to help... I have a sprint Hero,
rootedd with Fresh Rom 2.23 and so far all of the versions of Juice
defender have given me some type of problem...usually just not loading
or crashing. After 1.73 was installed, it all looked like it was
working well...after about a day....it took about 5-10 seconds for a
phone call to go through consistently, and everything else
lagged....Other then that, it was increasing my battery time but
slowed my phone to be unusable. After disabling it, everything went
back to normal.

PS...I bought the pro version after installing this version because it
seemed to be working... I can see the light at the end of fthe
tunnel!!! Thanks

I'm slowly in the process of trimming away old stuff and optimizing
the speed execution of everything else - it's true that JD isn't
exactly a speed champion now on slower CPUs (both because the N1
spoiled me and because I focused too much on adding features and too
little on possibly-premature optimization :) )
However what you describe doesn't seem normal at all... If it's not
the usual 'corrupted apk' problem that gets fixed via a reinstall
(worth a try), it's probably due to some problematic interaction with
some other app. For example recent versions of the 'SuperUser
permission' (as found on modaco and cm roms) have been causing lots of
trouble and slowness - and most recently outright malfunctioning of
"root" apps.
