I've just checked in 0.4.3 - no major functionlity changes.

This is ahead of Mashed Libraries 2009 tomorrow, but I have not got
enough time today to produce a relase notice - this will be posted in
a couple of days.

Features of 0.4.3:
* Juice code (all of juice.js) now encapsulated in a closure to
avoid naming conflicts.
* Carousel3D.js - Extension for displaying a revolving set of
clickable images.
It takes an atom feed or a JS array as
input
* TwitterFeed.js - Extension to display Twitter search results

Thanks for update!

I noted that there is some confusion between which JavaScript file of
juice is the current. I'd propose to drop the juice-VERSION.js files
from the trunk and always use juice.js as current version. In my
branch (http://code.google.com/p/juice-project/source/browse/branches/
20090529-voj-fix-branch/) I added an ant build file with full test
suite, generation of API documentation, and generation of a versioned
file for distribution.

The version number is only specified in file version.txt. Have a look
in the build.xml file of JQuery itself how this can be used further
for minimized javascript etc. I have not completed generation of a
distribution ZIP-file (build/juice-VERSION.zip) because I am unsure
which files to include - but you can already use:

ant test
ant doc
ant dist

Apart from juice.js (which I modified to pass the unit test in tests/
unit/juice-meta-tests.js) the branch should be equal to the trunk with
additional tests and build environment only. I'd be happy if you can
merge this into the trunk so I can proceed :-)

Happy Mashed Libraries 2009 and Greetings,
Jakob

Jakob, thanks for this - you have been busy!

Now I'm not mashing libraries I'll catch up with the 0.4.3 release notice and then get right on to looking at your stuff.

The distribution zip file is something I want to look at also.

I've had a look through the branch and it looks good.
I'll defunct my branch since Jakob has already set up the suite in
pretty much the same way I intended to.
The only thing that I might add is the inclusion of a selenium/
webdriver test runner to wrap up navigating to the index.html and
verifying it works in different browsers.

One other thing, a clean checkout of the branch, and execution of 'ant
test' results in 34 tests passing and 1 failing. However ant reports
the build as succcessful, I've modified the test target to failonerror
so this doesn't get overlooked

Looking good in this branch.

Finalising the contents of the distribution zip.

For some reason the doc task is failing with java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/mozilla/javascript/tools/shell/Main

It would be good to fix that and merge this lot in to the trunk as version 0.5 - I will look at doing that tomorrow.

Jakob, are you still working in this branch or are you waiting for me to merge?

~Richard.
