Subject: Good article on "Electrifying Monsoon" on DNA Mumbai
Westcoast 6th july 2007
To: g_r...@dnaindia.net
Dear Rita Ghose:
Hello, I'm pleased to read your article published on 6th July 2007
in DNA Westcoast Mumbai. I've also put it up on my groups site to
let other citizens be aware of the problem.
http://groups.google.com/group/juhu_scheme/web/electrifying-monsoon
Now since last sunday afternoon(15th July 2007), the electrical
junction box outside my house has been open. The front door is broken
and the rear one is open and about to fall.
The address where the electrical junction box is located is outside
Plot No 20 Nandalaya,
N. S. Road No 6,
Hatkesh Society,
JVPD Scheme,
Mumbai 500056.
(very close to Jamnabai Narsee School).
I stay in the adjacent building (Ashirwad, Plot No 21) and my 3 year old son
studies at Jamnabai School. When he walks to school, he has to cross the
open electrical junction box and so do hundeds of students. This is extremely
dangerous and i've registered a complaint with Reliance Energy regarding it.
(complaint was made on 17th July - 9:55pm. complaint number is 76985).
However the electrical box is still open. I've taken photos and videos
of the same.
I'm attaching herewith some photos. I'd appreciate if you could publish this in
the westcoast edition and let others know of the perils caused by
Reliance Energy 100 metres away from a school.
Thanks and Regards.
Yashesh Bhatia.
