After a lot of work and running around banks & offices, eventually the a/c of Juhar Pune has been opened. The a/c details are as follows:

Many thanks and congratulations to Juhar team of Delhi who helped in this regard namely Sagar Pradhan, Kaushik Satpathy and Khitis Hota. In this activity our Pune team namely Raju Panigrahi, Naredra Panda, Umakanta Pradhan, Sudhansu dada, Anup Mishra and myself had worked. It is another milestone in Juhar Pune.

 

Moreover, kindly note that, till date we were organizing the function in a Hotel; so we were only giving some token advance and afterwards we were paying for all the plates. This year program is very elaborate with a cultural team of 13 teams coming from Padampur. Venue has been booked with additional cost. We’ll have to buy all food material before hand and prepare it with professional cook. So, all the payments have to be done in advance. Till date volunteers have spent more than Rs 25,000/- for booking of venue and train tickets. For smooth functioning we need to collect at least 75,000/- in advance.

 

Here is small over view of budget

Cultural troop – 40,000 (15,000 train tickets + 10,000 for traveling to & fro from Padampur to Jharsuguda & Station to Nigdi & Venue + 3000 food during travel + 7,000/- gift + 5000 food & other expenses in Pune)

Food – 30,000 (250 X 120 per head) (Food will be Breakfast: Puri & Tarkari, Lunch: Rice, Puri, Dal, Khata, Paneer, Khiri, Kakra Pitha, Papad, Salad; Snacks: Pakoda & Tea)

Stage – 3,000 decoration

Mike – 2,000

Prizes – 3,000

Water tanker – 2000

Banners, Poster, Receipts - 3000

Misc – 2,000

Total – 85,000 (minimum in a very conservative estimate)

 

So, our kind request is that, kindly finish raise the fund by 21^st of Septmeber and we can meet on 22^nd to decide further course of action.

 

We miss our old members who are not in Pune such as Sarat dada, Sujit, Rabindra and many more.

 

Once, again thanks to the team in Delhi & Pune who worked a lot for opening a bank a/c.
