welcome to JUGTZ...   I am the founder of JUGCAM -  Joomla Users Group Cambodia, that group is going fairly well...  300 members now...  Since I am on my way to Tanzania -  in fact in the Bangkok Airport at this moment,  and will arrive in TZ  tomorrow evening for an extended contract working on ICT-educaiton for the TZ government, I thought it would be a great idea to get a JUG going in TZ...   Thanks to Enahoro Ogfabe and Richard Kazimoto my co-conspirators...  :)

Anyhow...   we have had a bit of trouble on figuring out how to get people to sign in to this group...

I just found some really cool instructions on how to register for a google group...

read this...  (please pass these instructions on to anyone who wants to join us...  if they do not have a gmail id at least they can get on the mailing list right away...  registering for access to a google group requires a google ID...  a more laborious process I think... but easy for those of us who already have a gmail account!

Enter the following text on your browser address:

http://groups.google.com/group/GroupName/boxsubscribe?email=myid

Replace the ‘GroupName’ here with the Google Group you wan to join and the ‘myid’ at the end with your desired email id. Hit enter and sweet. You will require to click on the confirmation sent to the email id you entered and you would be subscribed without requiring a Google Account, Sign up process, Gmail id etc.
