Winhttp Client communicating with Java server using cert base authentication

We have windows c++ client which uses openssl to communicate with Jetty server.We are using certificate based authentication.(certificates are in PEM format).We are planning to remove openssl and use Winhttp for communication and are facing issues with PEM certificates. Is there a winhttp API that supports PEM format ? Can I get some sample application which uses PEM or PCKS12 certificate to communicate with java server.

I want some sample application where winhttp client is communicating with java server using certbased authentication .
