Ciao Juggers,

We hope that you enjoyed (and maybe are still enjoying) this summer... but now it's time to think about the future of our JUG.

First things first: the next meeting. It will take place on 29th of September, Andrea Chiodoni will tell us his experience about "Reactive Programming", what he did and why.
Since we really liked what happened in the last meeting (Daniele and Simone spoke about their experience, talk followed by a very interesting open discussion), Andrea's talk will be the same. More detail will follow in the next weeks. Save the date!

But what's next? Well, it's up to you! Thanks to Pasquale (who is our Google Forms' Jedi Master) we are now able to open our first official "call for speakers"!

Do you have something to say? Say it! It doesn't matter whether you are an experienced speaker or not, you are part of this community. So we want to hear something from you!

The rules are simple, you can choose:

- The subject, of course
- The format (open discussion, coding session, ???)
- a date - bear in mind that usually we meet during the last week of each month (mon-thu)
- the language of your talk (@Mario, if you want to give your talk in Neapolitan we can try to implement a realtime subtitle service)
- you can even propose an alternative location! We're very happy at SI-008 (thank you very much USI for that!!) but we are open to do some "external" session if you want to

Here the link to the google form: http://goo.gl/forms/ShSJ6wR9JG

...what else?

We would also like to organize an Hackergarten ( http://www.hackergarten.net ).
Would you like to spend a night writing code, eating pizza, learning from each other and contributing to one or more open source projects?
If you are willing to do that, we could contact Andres Almiray (who is probably reading this e-mail) and try to find a suitable date.

That's it, for now. Looking forward to receiving tons of proposals!

See you soon,

The JUG Lugano BDs (Daniele, Pasquale e Celestino)
