§ Since last 5 years, I am working in 'Governance Team' for Chubb & Sons ( Insurance Company) in Warren NJ. I am responsible for implementing Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) by using ‘Clarity 8.1’ suite of products. My role is to serve as a subject matter expert’ on all aspects of ‘CA Clarity’. CA Clarity is an ideal solution for ensuring the success of IT initiatives within an organization. CA Clarity has strong capabilities for resource planning, portfolio management and demand management etc. Additionally I am responsible for several external reports, trends and graphs, to support our decision process. I provide CA Clarity Administrative support to about 200 users and work with other business units to ensure 24X7 availability.
§ I established and managed automated testing group, co-coordinated testing effort among various groups to ensure all applications are tested comprehensively and test set to provide adequate test coverage based on risk analysis etc. I created various testing documentation (test plans, test cases/scripts, defect reports, etc.). I was involved in the integration and testing of software products using SQA package for DOW JONES. The system kept track of updated information on orders and stock from each unit. The sub-modules of the system took care of entire invoicing package functions of orders received by sales persons working at their client site to the back office at another location. The system also alerted the management when the stock was below the reorder level. This project extensively used all the tools in SQA Suite like SQA Robot, SQA Manager, SQA Test Log Viewer, and different Comparators. The SQA suite team test included Test Planning, Test Development and Execution, Defect Tracing, Defect reporting, and Summary Report Analysis. The GUI based application was developed using Visual Basic 4.0 and Oracle 7.1 as an RDBMS engine.
