Hi Developers,

There is a good project opportunity with over sea client. I will just give introduction and will not be the bridge in between. They need two developers, those who interested to get involved please email  directly per.a.v...@gmail.com and cc baro...@gmail.com. The customer understand agile process and flexible.

Below is big picture information about this project from Per.

Big picture:

We have an online system for a member run lodge (non-profit) that is based on open source software. The software exposes the available beds and other services provided by the lodge to members. There are 20 beds. The actual bookings and payments are currently processed manually by a person.

Now, we want to improve how people make their bookings by (1) improving the user interface. (2) Plus automate the bookings including a set of business rules with prices, payment (PayPal) and confirmations. Some of these ideas are outlined in the attached docs written by Ian and me.

Ian’s opinion is that it may be easier to start from scratch than adopt and extent the existing system.

Timeline, ideally we want a version 1.0 with basic functionality in 1-2 months developed with a team of 2 developers. So we can start to use it prior to the winter season, which is when we have the most activity.

Ian is the responsible sponsor and ultimate “owner”. I would be the customer/product manager.

Interested developers can respond in email to me and cc: Ian; and then after some email exchanges we can set up a Skype call.

Cheers,
Channe
