to 2009 CSA List
The whole CSA is invited to a Land Conservation Pasture Party at the farm of Joanne Flynn next Sunday where we use a small field to grow potatoes and spring greens.

The main point of the party is to spread information about land conservation programs in Prince George's County. If you have any interest in one day purchasing a rural property not far from Washington this would be a good opportunity to learn how to do so smartly taking advantage of tax easements and other programs. Even if you are not interested in such a move, this is a good opportunity to see the nearby countryside and have a good time. Joanne has graciously told me to invite the whole CSA to come out and have a good time. As you can see from the invitation there will be music by Mayor Fenty's favorite band the Swampy Bottom Boys and a long list of wonderful activities.

Please let me know if you plan to come and if you can come.

Scott
