Hi list,
Since the release of Jug version 1.4 (back in January), there have been
a lot of changes to the code. By now, a new release is probably due, but
given the big changes, I'm using it for a while to make sure that there
are no sneaky bugs that were introduced. Upgrading to the git version
should be safe though and any feedback is welcome.
The biggest internal change has been the new argument parsing mode,
which allows for adding new commands to jug. This is useful for Renato
Alves' new jug-schedule module:
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/jug-schedule
Btw, I think many here will be interested in that module: it adds a a
bit of cool functionality to jug when used in a cluster.
*
Other changes:
- added invalidate() function to 'jug shell'
- added --target option to 'jug execute'
- added a function to check if jug is running
Cheeers,
Luis
