Dear list,
Last week, I released Jug 1.5.0.
It includes many internal improvements (many thanks to Renato Alves for
some of the redesigned subcommand usage, also check out his jug-schedule
package :
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/jug-schedule).
User viewable changes include:
- you can use --target to specify a subset of tasks to run (in jug
execute)
- is_jug_running function (discussed on the mailing list before)
- invalidate() is now available inside `jug shell`
- lock files now have some more info
- for consistency, jug invalidate takes --target to specify the task to
invalidate (the old API is still OK, though)
Several bugfixes are also part of the release.
*
WHAT IS JUG?
Jug allows you to write code that is broken up into tasks and run
different tasks on different processors (even across a cluster).
Jug is a pure Python implementation and should work on any platform.
