To: jsr343-...@jms-spec.java.net

At long last JMS 2.0 is now officially released and can be downloaded from the JCP website at
http://jcp.org/aboutJava/communityprocess/final/jsr343/index.html

I've updated the jms-spec wiki with various information about the release. Follow the link on the front page or go directly to https://java.net/projects/jms-spec/pages/JMS20FinalRelease

By coincidence, I've just had an article "What's New in JMS 2.0, Part One: Ease of Use" published on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) website at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/java/jms20-1947669.html
A second article on the remaining new features will follow soon.

The final release of Java EE 7 is imminent. To launch Java EE 7 there will be a series of "live webcasts" on Wed 12 June and Thurs 13 June to launch Java EE 7. This will include a webcast from me on JMS 2.0.

For more information, including how to register for this online event, please see this page:
https://event.on24.com/eventRegistration/EventLobbyServlet?target=registration.jsp&eventid=615713&sessionid=1&key=453EBA948F6408FE613E61903CBAEBFA&partnerref=Java_EE7_Launch_glassfishblogs_06122013&sourcepage=register

I think this is the time for me to thank, once again, everyone who has contributed to JMS 2.0.

Nigel
