Shawn Boburg, "Give it Back, PA Retirees Are Told: Former Execs
Received Bloated Pensions," in "The Record," July 23, 2012, at p.
A-1.

"Eight former Port Authority executives have been collecting INFLATED
pension checks for years and will have to return some of the money,
the New York Comptrollers' office has determined." (emphasis added!)

P.A. scams surrounding overtime payments and bonuses have gone
uncontrolled for a long time. The bi-state agency was deemed "beyond
regulation" by either N.J. or N.Y.

Now the abuse has become so flagrant that the feds and N.Y.
authorities are trying to put a stop to the worst excesses.

N.J.'s Attorney General, Mr. Chiesa, is absent from this
investigation. I wonder why that is?

For years privileged insiders at the P.A. were being paid for massive
"unverified overtime," bonuses in outrageous amounts were awarded for
loyalty to "bosses" or for doing political favors, allegedly, and
funds "disappeared" quickly from P.A. development projects. ("Cement
is Gold" and "Herbert Klitzner, Esq.'s Greed and New Jersey's
Hypocrisy.")

Use of public agencies as private treasure chests has to stop.
Silencing a critic by preventing me from writing on-line is not the
answer, Mr. Christie. ("How censorship works in America.")

New Jersey's legal system is similarly corrupt, befouled by organized
crime participation or control, abuse of human rights, theft, and
gross incompetence as well as political intimidation and control of
judges and the Office of Attorney Ethics. ("New Jersey's 'Ethical'
Legal System" and "New Jersey's Office of Attorney Ethics.")

The spectacle that New Jersey has become, ironically, under
"corruption buster and crusader for political honesty, Chris
Christie," is unacceptable in America.

I still support and welcome Mr. Christie's entry into politics with
the hope that he will control corruption. Thus far, Mr. Christie's
efforts to halt the epidemic that is New Jersey's political corruption
are disappointing at best.

The answer to this crisis is not to say "it's hopeless!" but to try
harder to bring the "insiders" (like Mr. Bruno?) to justice for
conflicts of interest or pay-to-play practices and kickback schemes,
allegedly.

Mr. Christie and Mr. Rabner, you cannot continue to ignore the public
censorship to which I and my readers are subjected by New Jersey-based
cybercrime and hacking. Please deal with these matters today. The
whole world is watching.

when several Latinos have been shot, cold bloodedly, by police in
California, only New Jersey has an equal record for violating civil
rights of minority victims in police shootings. Mr. Menendez was not
very forthcoming on the Trayvon Martin shooting or in asking for
freedom for Mumia Abu-Jamal, will he speak out on these shootings of
unarmed Latinos?)

nation in legal corruption, educational decline, and jobless rate
increase -- a rate which is now well over 10%, in real terms, as
efforts are underway to bring the G.O.P. convention to the Garden

Mr. Christie? How about a G.O.P. convention in Newark? Trenton? Union
City? Mr. Obama hopes that they will hold the Republican convention in
New Jersey.)
