Dear ALL,

I hope this email finds you well. You are cordially invited to apply for the upcoming 9th Biennial African School of Fundamental Physics and Applications (ASP2026), which will be held at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, from July 5–19, 2026.

The ASP is an intensive, two-week program designed to increase capacity development in fundamental physics and related applications across Africa.

The student application process is officially open and will close promptly on January 10, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Have completed at least 3 years of university education in physics or a related field.
• Submit all university transcripts and diplomas.
• Provide a written statement explaining their interest in the program.
• Arrange for a letter of support from their academic advisor or Head of Department.

Please Note: Individuals who have previously attended an ASP, either in person or online, are not eligible to apply for ASP2026.
