Webinar Highlights

For sustainable electronics devices and applications, the materials used as well as the materials processes involved are critical. This is especially pertinent for the African continent as electronic devices continue to proliferate. The three talks in this joint MRS/African MRS webinar will highlight different aspects of sustainable electronic materials that are especially relevant for Africa as examples of ongoing research in this area, including organic electronics, membranes, and organic solar cells.

This webinar is presented jointly by MRS and African MRS.

Talks:

Compostable Organic Electronics
Clara Santato, École Polytechnique de Montréal

Membranes as substrates for devices
Nolwazi Nombona, University of Pretoria

Synthesis of co-polymers for organic solar cells
Newayemedhin Tegegne, Addis Ababa University
