New paper by Sara Skrabalak about AI and scientific writing

I hope this email finds you in good health and spirits. I am writing to you today to share an exciting paper that has been recently published in ACS Nano, one of the top journals in nanoscience and nanotechnology. The paper is called “Best Practices for Using AI When Writing Scientific Manuscripts” and it is co-written by Sara Skrabalak, one of our JUAMI 2023 program speaker professors at Indiana University Bloomington.

The paper investigates the use and impact of ChatGPT, an AI language bot, in scientific writing. It examines the advantages and disadvantages of ChatGPT and offers some suggestions for best practices when using such tools. It also highlights some issues about the potential risks and challenges of depending on AI for scientific communication.

I think this paper is very pertinent and timely for our JUAMI community, as we are always looking for ways to enhance our writing skills and communicate our research effectively.
