Invitation: Conference on Catalysing East African Science

The
African Academy of Sciences (AAS) is pleased to invite you to an exciting scientific conference titled "Catalysing East African Science through Scientific Partnership", jointly hosted by the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). This important event will bring together CNRS-funded researchers and ARISE grantees to explore innovative ways to strengthen scientific partnerships between Europe and East Africa. 

The conference will feature:
• A keynote presentation on CNRS' roadmap for African scientific collaboration
• A showcase of groundbreaking ARISE-funded research, including a spotlight on  Dr. Bridget Mutuma's work on environmental nanotechnology
• Panel discussions on consolidation and innovation
• Reflections and lessons learned from ARISE Fellows
• A roundtable and general discussion on future collaboration opportunities

We believe your participation will enrich the dialogue and help shape meaningful partnerships in science, technology, and innovation across Africa and beyond.
