WS2 Seminar on Education in East Africa: May 28th

Dear JUAMI community,

WS2 (Women Supporting Women in the Sciences), a group involving many JUAMI alum, is hosting a virtual seminar on Friday May 28th (19:00 EAT, 9am PT, 11 am CT, 12pm ET) featuring Professor Verdiana Grace Masanja from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) and Dr. Sara Mkango from Ruaha Catholic University in Tanzania. 

This event will consist of a 30 minute seminar on the state of education for women and girls in East Africa followed by a 30 minute Q&A session. Here is the Zoom link to attend. Please see the attached flyer for more details!
