Dear All,
Greetings from Web-Mag Team !
As we eagerly wait for arrival of those four magical days of unalloyed joy and happiness, Pujo also reminds
us how far we are from home. Despite the years, spent away from home, Durga Pujo is the time when we get
caught up in nostalgia and recreate the ambience in a home -- away from home. So during these four days we
rediscover the joy of being a Bengali, re-explore our identity with Bengali food and, of course, get linked
with our culture.
And what is Pujo without Pujabarshiki ?
So, please do tickle your creative brain-cells and churn out verse, prose, essay, short stories, travelogue,
Satires, scientific articles or even nostalgic musings for the “Megh Peon – Pujo Sonkhya 2424”.
Echara tomader porichito mohol thhekeo moner moto lekha mail koro…Pujo mane Milon-mela…
Please make sure that, your literary contribution reaches the Drop Box of “Megh Peon” by 30 August.
Earlier the submission, more appropriate would be the editorial and illustration process...

PS : Though most of us are familiar with the guidelines but just like the statutory warnings on tobacco packs we repeat :
· There are no taboos when it comes to choosing your topic but do consider the fact that a lengthy piece is unsuitable for the web medium unless it is in verse.
· We would prefer soft copies since all our ‘Bangla Typists’ are professionally pre-occupied. Please type your article on MS Word. For Bengali scripts please use Avro software, which can be downloaded from the link --- https://www.omicronlab.com/avro-keyboard-download.
· You may provide illustrations/images, especially for travel related articles. Else, we would try inserting illustrations appropriate with the body of work.
· Please make a note that, we publish only those articles which have not appeared elsewhere. And please do acknowledge sources as we hate to infringe on copyright.
