I want to fork JTwitter, would you be opposed to this?

1. I want to use GSon instead of the json to java implementation you
currently have.
2. I wanted to go ahead and break up that big java class

including a link to the "official" version on your fork, and a brief
note on which version you forked from & the differences? Thanks.

I've not seen GSon before. It looks nice.

Me too! It didn't start out that big, but the Twitter API kept
growing, and I don't want to break backwards compatibility for people.
