Announcement: Joomla 3.0 Test Packages are Available

Hi everyone,

Congratulations!  I'm pleased to announce the immediate availablility of Joomla 3.0 *test* packages:

These are intended for developers and testers and are *NOT* for production sites.  If everything goes well, a stable version of Joomla 3.0.0 will be released this Thursday, the 27th of September.

Please report any release blockers by replying to this topic.  Normal bugs can be reported using the following process:

P.s. You can test the 2.5 to 3.0 update/migration on *test* sites by going to Components -> Joomla! Update -> Options and changing the Update server to "Testing".
