How do I compile jtablet-dev on Linux??

What do I do to build the jtablet-dev on Debian from the Git repo? All I see are these XML files that I don't know what to do with.

Well I tried using Apache Ant with just the command "ant" and here is what I got:

Buildfile: /home/mrrhq/.local/src/jtablet/build.xml

jtabletjpen.gen.java:
    [mkdir] Created dir: /home/mrrhq/.local/src/jtablet/build/src-gen/java/cello/repackaged/jpen

BUILD FAILED
/home/mrrhq/.local/src/jtablet/build.xml:110: /home/mrrhq/.local/src/jtablet/build/jpen-svn/java/jpen does not exist.

Total time: 0 seconds

Do I need the jpen libraries or the source or what?
