I just tested it out with Inklet on Mac OS X, so it looks like it may
not be restricted to Wacom devices.
No idea how it might interact with Java, but it might be possible to
make a JTablet wrapper for it through JavaScript (no idea as to how
fast it'd be)...
At the very least, it's an interesting alternative to Java + JTablet
if you want to do web-based drawing tools. (Processing.js?)

I just did a quick proof of concept of this, and it works! I'm able to get the tablet information in a java applet through javascript. This could be an alternative mechanism for getting basic pressure information without JTablet even installed.
It will probably need more testing/exploration on different platforms, but it has the advantage of being installed whenever the user installs a wacom driver.
