Are there any known bugs when having both? I notice i have to reinstall jtablet1 after i install the alpha installer. Both seem to work fine once jtablet1 is reinstalled.

JTablet 2 is intended to be completely backwards compatible with
JTablet 1. Having both installed is definitely not recommended and
won't be supported once JTablet 2 is finalized.

If you're noticing a problem with JTablet 2 on a JTablet 1
applet/application, please report the problem here!

Also, JTablet 2's installer should automatically uninstall JTablet 1.
If that is not working correctly, please let me know.

No, that is working correctly and I have seen no bugs with both running concurrently.. :p , The reason I bring it up is because a few of my users users already use other jtablet programs, and they mentioned that their other program stopped working and had to reinstall jtablet. I understand there will be no support for it, but I think it should not be removed incase users are using other programs with jtablet1.

Can you please point me to the applications that aren't working with JTablet 2?

There should be no reason to have JTablet 0.9.x installed.

I don't think I am getting my point across, so i'll explain with more detail.

Currently, Shi-chan Paintchat(c) is designed with JTablet 0.9.x

I have reverse engineered this program and I have been modifying it for quite some time, and now I am adding the support for JTablet2.

However, users who will have to install JTablet2 to use my version of Paintchat, they will no longer have Sensitivity support for other version of paintchat (where ever they may go to use it) since JTablet 0.9.x was uninstalled. The current fix to get around this 'issue' for the users, is they have to reinstall JTablet 0.9.x just so they can use programs that use JTablet 0.9.x AND programs that use JTablet 2.

So with that said, my argument is that if having both installed have no drawbacks, why do you force users to uninstall JTablet 0.9.x?

JTablet 2 includes support for JTablet 0.9.x applets, so installing
JTablet 0.9.x should be unnecessary.

If it's not working for some reason, then there's a bug in the
compatibility code and it should be fixed. I can look into why it's
not working with Paintchat later this week.

Please direct people having problems with JTablet 2 problems to this
mailing list so I can help diagnose the problems.

Thanks for your help!
