CQ transmits only Grid Square with call offset by 1K Hz

Entire version 5.4 reinstalled. Transmission when viewed at another station waterfall shows an apparent normal signal but text is CQ and Grid Square. Offset by 1KC higher is another waterfall signal apparently (or possibly) the call expanded double.

More to the saga. Looking at a friends transmission with the waterfall i can see his tones and the harmonic of his tones.
I was initially only transmitting the CQ a space and then my grid square. I had him transmit a CQ which I answered and walla all of a sudden my transmissions are ok again. The problem today started when I moved from 20 meters to 40 meters after answering calls most of the afternoon.
