When stepping through code, if I do not have sources loaded, my debugger will often get "stuck" in a piece of code which I cannot see.  On one of my projects, even adding the packages to the stepping excludes config does not prevent this from occurring.  Let me know if you need any clarification on this.

Hi Mark

If you have a set of steps that I can use to reproduce the
disappearing program counter issue, I'll file a bug and see what I can
do. In any case, you can try using the "step out" operation to escape
the code for which you don't have source. Likewise with the excludes
not working, if you have a set of steps, please send them to me.
Knowing the versions of everything (e.g. JSwat, JVM, OS) is helpful,
too.

Thanks

Hello Nathan,

I know that you do not actively support jswat, but maybe you can point
me in the right direction. I cannot find where jswat stores the names of
the open source files when the debugger closes. Jswat is stuck on
opening the same source files and never saves the state when I close it.
I tried a number of tricks, like looking at the system file reads and
searching all the xml files on my disc, but I can't hunt it down to see
if I could correct the problem by deleting session files.

Thanks,

Leonard Rann

It's the NetBeans editor module that's handling the window re-open, so
I honestly don't know where that information is stored. I'm sure it's
in the ~/.jswat directory, somewhere, but I can't get more specific
than that.

Sorry I'm not much help. In any case, I'm happy to answer questions
about JSwat, but I have basically no time to put development effort
into it.
