Hi everyone,

my first time here, i have a question about jswat.

I integrated jswat 2.39 in my project using a tools for generate java
code of my company.

Using jswat 2.39 i have a one jar file so i include it into my tool.

Now i want include jswat-4.5 into my tool but is not possibile because
there's not a one jar file.

If possibile replicate the situation in some way, perhaps by compiling
the source code, that I used with jswat 2:39

Thank you

Nicola

You integrated JSwat 2.39 into your tool at your company? Is this in
compliance with the GNU General Public License? Versions of JSwat
prior to 3.0 are licensed under the GPL, which is stated in the
license file accompanying the software. If you are not in compliance,
then you may have a serious problem on your hands. Check with your
legal department to make sure you're not violating the GPL. The good
news is you are at least evaluating migrating to a newer version,
which just so happens to be licensed under a more liberal license
(CDDL).

Regarding integrating the more recent versions there is little chance
of that happening. Since version 3.0 JSwat has been based on the
NetBeans Platform, so there is really no way of embedding it within
another Java application. However, given that it is licensed under the
CDDL you could write your own interface and utilize the core
functionality of JSwat, but it would be a lot of work.
