HAPPY NEW YEAR OF THE SERPENT!
Dear friends: I have been so occupied (and fatigued) with taking care of my Mom here in Princeton, NJ and attending to the seeming endless loose ends of my Dad's legacy, I haven't had time to send greetings: Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year, Valentine's, all came and went. Finally it's Presidents' Day. Chinese New Year was Feb 10, since traditionally the celebration goes for 15 days (until the full moon), so it is still appropriate for me to send good wishes.
By way of updating you, I am attaching a composite clipping from the current issue (Feb 13) of the Princeton weekly Town Topics. On page 14 is my Dad's painting (Blue Ridge), part of Mar 2-Apr 19 Trenton City Museum Exhibitionï؟½ï؟½. Then for the fun of it, check out this YouTube clip -- the brush technique is the kind my Dad did, albeit this one is a bit gimmicky: "one brush stroke serpent", enjoy!
