Ajax call from JS report fails - Access-Control-Allow-Origin

Hi Blaha,

 I am trying to make a ajax call to get json output which will be used to generate UV charts graph. However when I try debug I get the following error message. Ajax url is pointing to a different server.

Warning: :1 XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://servername/tools/services/_MIS_API.php?cmd=VOCSTORM&ver=1.0. 
Origin file:// is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

Could you please advice how I could resolve this error
