standalone jsreport install fails with message Failed @ Phatomjs@1.9.15 error code ELIFECYCLE

Hi Blaha,

 I tried to install standalone jsreport based on your comment on JSreport.net portal (http://jsreport.net/learn/net-embedded). However I get the below error. Could you please help?

phantomjs installation is not very reliable and sometimes fail. Please retry.

Hi Blaha,

 Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to install the standalone instance in my system successfully(you have advised me to try this first) . However I am actually trying to install the jsreport.Embedded in Visual studio 2013 but it fails with following error still. I am able to install node.js, nogit & Jsreport.client but not NPM. Following error occurs when I try to install jsreport.Embedded in VS2013. Please help

Ok, so you say that you cannot install mentioned NPM nuget, package right?

Maybe you can try to remove that temp NuGetScratch folder and also make sure you start VS as admin.

Sorry No luck. I deleted the NugetScratch folder & tried installing NPM as Admin I still get the below error . I tried navigating the path it mentions . I am able to traverse till

C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Temp\NuGetScratch\2635c0cb-db6a-4ece-a7a7-da86262056ed\dszhxfhj.lrj\node_modules\npm\node_modules\fstream-npm\node_modules\fstream-ignore\node_modules\minimatch\node_modules\brace-expansion\node_modules\

however there is no balanced-match folder there. Instead there is only one foder named - concat-map . Does this help you to resolve this issue?

I don't see there actual report, this outputs on npm start?

Try to run it rather using 'node server.js' this could provide better error

when I access the localhost URL I am able to see the sample report HTML & Other handle bar related code. However when I click Run button above I get page can not be displayed error in browser. here is what I found in logs\reporter.txt file  will you be able to help?

Did you try chrome/firefox? Edge an IE doesn't have native support for pdf and you need to install a plugin

Yes I tried with chrome latest version. It still fails. in fact the server stops accepting further requests after I try to run the report.  I had to run the command node server.js for it to display any output.
