It's in the master branch, under project called "mercury." There're better ways to do this, but I didn't do 'em. I probably should have. It was late, cut me some slack.

Anyway, mercury has the interfaces and some abstract classes, but not everything: no annotations (because the implementation supplied isn't a grid, but a map that presumably acts like a single-node grid), and no query facility whatsoever.

Hey, it's now just like memcached and ehcache! :)

In all seriousness, though, this is a beginning; at least we'll have something at which to look, and some compliance tests.

I've just started catching up on this, is "mercury" a suggested API or some tool already in use?

It's just the name I was giving to possible implementation approaches. I was naming them after planets, if memory serves.
