Can somebody bring them back online?

I think cloodbees takes down a Jenkins instance if it hasnt been used for a month.
Might be what has happened

NOTE:  I will try to keep this convenience link up to date past 0.6 Draft SNAPSHOT, but no gurantees.  To do this yourself, just do what I did = expand this link   https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/artifact/maven/redirect?r=snapshots&g=javax.cache&a=cache-api&v=0.6-SNAPSHOT&e=jar&c=javadoc  under a local Apache httpd $HTDOCS directory.

Thanks for hosting these javadocs.

Any particular reason they require authentication ?

There is a reason.  The hosting server"s management (providing 100% of the javaDoc URL's underlying resources for free) required it , and would not relax the requirement (despite my insistence that it was unnecessary).

Most of the Java EE 7 JSRs have a project at xxx-spec.java.net, they
are all linked from javaee-spec.java.net.

CDI 1.1 is hosted on github but javadocs are linked directly from
their hudson job. Does JCache (or is jcache or JCACHE ?) have a hudson
job ?

Another alternative is to create jcache-spec.java.net but that would
be redundant for hosting javadocs only.

What do people prefer ?
