@HashKey annotation?

Don't know if this been mentioned before, but how about a class level
@HashKey annotation for annotating interfaces that is intended to be
used as keys in hash based collections?

(I sometimes still wish Sun would have given us an HashKey interface
with methods hashCode() and equals(Object), rather than giving us
default implementation for all objects).
