What is the difference between Route, tours and tour activity?

While i was reading he code, i didn't get the difference or the relation between Route, Tours and TourActivity.

Hi,

Jobs are either services or shipments. They imply activities once they are assigned to a vehicle route (= tour). A service implies a ServiceActivity. A shipment implies a PickupShipment and a DeliverShipment activity. A vehicle route is operated by a vehicle and is a sequence of these activities. All activities are TourActivities.
