How to exclude a package from the build

I use DevExtreme from DevExpress in my Angular application. They have an option to create a custom JS file that only includes the DevExtreme features that you use. If I make a JSPM build and exclude this package, and then include the custom JS file manually, it just loads all of the DevExtreme packages dynamically at runtime anyway.

So my question is, if I have an npm package that I want to replace with my own custom JS file, how can I do that with JSPM?
