Plugins in plain folders and not compressed inside JAR file?

Hi folks,

we are using jspf to automate the development of plugins for our web app and it works like a breeze building the jar and deploying, but we would like to know if it's possible to use a plain folder instead of a compressed jar file. 

Any hints?
