Plugin deprecation

Hi all,

I am sad to read about the deprecation of this Gradle plugin. 

If I want to contribute, I really should head for the mentioned alternative by eirnym? -It does not seem to have any community around it nor any contributers, by I may be so very wrong in my reading.

Feel free to comment upon this; I and my company need a solid JSON-schema-plugin.

You'll be pleased to know that I have effectively reversed the decision to deprecate the core gradle plugin. It seems that some of the suggested problems upon which this decision was based where not in fact correct.

I intend to continue to keep the core gradle plugin up to date and in sync with all other plugins. I've done some work recently to update it and will continue to maintain it along with everything else. If you or others in your team want to help out please do.

I'm pleased to hear this. I've been trying to get the other one working without success given that the discussions I saw there indicated yours was no longer supported. I will try to get your plugin working.
