Is there any interest in protocol 2 support?

Hi All,

I just opened a pull request to add the first element of protocol 2 support - in this case, __getnewargs__.

This is necessary to support e.g. some SQLAlchemy objects. If there's any interest in this, I'll keep adding support for more magic methods.

That sounds like it could be really cool!

As long as all the tests pass, and we still keep python2.x
compatibility, then I'm all for it.
