Something to also consider when evaluating Ajax frameworks is how
large the script payload that must be added to perform the task.

As of today (v1.0.0903.0714), the *entire* JsonFx framework with all
the bells and whistles (including JSON, JsonML, JBST, JSON-RPC, etc.)
is 67 KB uncompressed and only 8.64 KB when compacted and Gzipped.
Add to that the fact that it is heavily cached such that it only gets
requested once per client in Release mode. jQuery alone is about
double the size.

As a frame of reference, that is nearly the same size as the Google
logo on their homepage:
