How to populate json array with resultset

Hi Everyone,
I am a new bie to json and want to test some
example like, I am getting a resultset from the dbase which I want to
show up in the json array....But I am not able to generate this using
the scriptlets between the json object open and close tags...its
throwing exception..
Plz lemme know how do i go about this...
