maven artifacts

Has there been any progress in getting json-taglib uploaded to the
maven central repo? I'm converting from ant and this is the only
blocker.

We don't currently have any plans to upload the taglib to the maven repository.  If you need to, you should be able to create a local repository and check the taglib into your build.
