Ability to list the series available in a dataset

Hello,

I will try to elicit my use case.

From a json-stat dataset that contains a TIME dimension. I would like to know how many time-series actually exists in my dataset because the data it contains can be sparse, for example not all

countries are reporting the complete set of indicator

More generally it is the inverse of the Data function that give you an array for a known set of categories value, I would like to find out the set of categories values for which I would eventually receive values from the Data function()

Do you understand my idea and do think it would be possible somehow ?

I'm not sure I understand what you want (nulls are values too). Could you build an example dataset and specify what the query would be and what the expected response? Is your question TIME-specific or was it just an example?
