I am looking for a java implementation of json schema for validation
purposes.

- even though jackson has an 'implementation', it does not seem to
support the validation of json objects against a json schema

- jsontools.berlios seem to define its own syntax instead of going
with one defined at http://json-schema.org/

thoughts?

Jackson can only produce a JSON schema for annotated classes currently.
Validation as a feature has been requested (there is interest), but so
far it has not been implemented.
If anyone had spare cycles to help with that, I am sure help would be
most welcome. :-)

PHP version appears to be invalid -- project set up but no files for
download? Judging by last change date here (sep 2009), the project is
not going to be uploaded/implemented and could be removed from the
implementations list.

Another one to add to this list is JSV: a JavaScript implementation of
a extendable, fully compliant revision 2 JSON Schema validator. It can
be downloaded from: http://github.com/garycourt/JSV

The http://monologista.jp/json-schema link is bad. The code is
mirrored at http://code.google.com/p/jsonschema in the downloads
section.

If the original author can't be found, perhaps a new google project
could be made.
