I am updating our json-schema-validator from a very old version and am seeing validation errors where there weren't any before. My guess is that our schema is written in draft v3 and 2.2.5 is set to use draft v4, which is causing the validation errors. Is there a way I can set 2.2.5 to use draft v3 instead of draft v4 if this is the case?

OK, this is another question here; what errors? Let me guess: "required"?

this is a duplicate of my other discussion about using draft v3 schema with the latest versions of the validator. this can be deleted.
