One of the things that has come out of the RDF Working Group work at the
W3C was the understanding that that the group didn't have a good enough
handle on what to do with JSON and RDF to continue. Therefore, a group
was created at W3C to tackle the problem of coming up with a Linked Data
format for JSON. The RDF WG will re-visit the issue in about a year. In
the meantime, those that are interested in this area are asked to
participate in the public Linked JSON mailing list at W3C:

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-linked-json/

Everyone on this mailing list is probably interested in that work
because it is more-or-less the same work that we're working on here with
the JSON-LD spec. It would be good of us to migrate all discussion to
that mailing list while it's active.

I have tried to kick-off discussion on that mailing list by doing an
update to the JSON-LD spec (folks have been asking for an updated
version). You can read more about it here:

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-linked-json/2011May/0000.html

... and if you'd like to comment, send comments to:

public-li...@w3.org

:)
