The most recent release of json-c, json-c 0.17, is now available.
This release adds json_patch support, and fixes various bugs.  Also binary compatibility with the 0.16 release has been restored; if you've been using bleeding edge code from the master branch you will notice the json_tokener_error enum values are different.
The library name remains at libjson-c.so.5, with a minor version bump to 5.3.0.
