Hi, this might be somewhat of a newbie question but I was wondering if
it is possible to combine the use of an OWL ontology with Soar/jSoar.

From what I can tell, the basic data is stored in the soar
representation and cannot combine the use of referencing with an
external database. It seems to me that the only way to use an ontology
with soar/jsoar is to use java as a buffer between the two (Feeding
new data from the ontology to soar and new soar data to the ontology),
but this would cause two representations of the same data.

Sincerely,
John Finnson

Hi John,

Thanks for your interest in jsoar. For general soar questions like this, I recommend emailing soar-...@lists.sourceforge.net. That is the main soar mailing list and will reach a lot more people, including John Laird (the creator of Soar). This list is really for jsoar-specific issues.

Bob
