March Update

I met with the Doctor on Monday, and most of the blood counts were
still going up, my platelets had reached 125,000, not too bad.
Unfortunately, my white blood count had dropped to 2,200. It had been
at 5,000 at one point. No one is quite sure what that is about, but
the doctor said it is not totally unexpected. He said that he would
like me to return to treatment on Monday the 19th, even if the white
count is still not all the way back. He said that if things had not
improved significantly on that front he would prefer to reduce the
treatment instead of waiting longer.

I am all about thinning the treatment out. So I am not sure what the
counts will look like on Monday, but it is looking like I will be back
in for treatment next week. If you don't hear from me, it is because
I am in the Hospital. If I don't go in, then I will send another
update out.

I am sure happy that I was out of the hospital and on my feet for this
fantastic weather we are having in St. Louis. This definitely makes
the road easier.

Hi, John. Thanks for the update.

FYI ... my Mom will be here the beginning of next week for a couple of days, so we probably won't be able to get to the hospital until later in the week. I'll text you when we're looking at coming so that you can tell us if you're still in the hospital or back at home. Either way, we'll be sure to deliver the ice cream! :-)

You are in the home-stretch now, keeping plugging! We will be out of town for Spring Break but will follow your progress and if you go back in this week- we will call ahead to see where you are so we can rosary again! Or bring something yummy from Bread Co.
